Totally NOT awesome

Well, what can I say? No, seriously, what can I say? Writing about the weather
during August is sometimes just as exciting as January (with no snow in the
forecast). The dog days of summer, indeed.

As you can see above, we're back into that danger area with the humidity and the
heat. Here are the particulars from our NWS friends.

Now we do have the possibility of a cold front last this week, headed into the
weekend, so we'll have to hope that actually makes it into Oklahoma. You can
just see the impacts starting out west on Friday.

Slight chance of showers each day, especially up in NW OK, but we'll see
much better chances if that front can make it down this way.

Fall is coming, we just have to survive the heat until we get there. Don't
worry, Oklahoma, I think you'll squeak by.
