A bit of alright!

When going with a teenaged miscreant saying "Alright," it's tough to choose
between Wooderson and Spicoli. Now Spicoli had a couple of alrights...after Mr.
Hand (come on, follow me here) tells him he's going to leave his quote of "I
don't know" up for all his classes to see, and also after Hamilton throws the
coffee in the robber's face whilst working at 7-11. But Wooderson beats him out
by uttering the word three times. Yes, these are very trying times, and very
troublesome problems.

But the good news is we finally got some rain across the parched areas of east
central down into south central Oklahoma. Not enough, but that area was destined
for more drought without at least some relief. The rains are moving out for now,
but more is possible later today into tomorrow morning.

Like I said, we really need another hit down there, because much of the SE half
or so of the state has been moisture challenged to say the least (or most). SW
OK remains under the drought gun as well.

Up in the northwest, where moisture has been a bit more plentiful, they're
dealing with another problem...of the freezing variety. And I'm afraid more
is on the way--not only later this week, but possibly next week as well. It
hasn't been too much, and not too out of character for that part of the state.

We see another possible freeze into the weekend, and next week we will possibly
see a continuance of our abbreviated spring weather.

We need rain, we need warmth...and we need more "Alrights."
