Parley!

So apparently your temperature fortunes today rests upon whether you walk outside
and look up and see nothing. Now here's the catch...if you see nothing because
your head is encased in a cloud (i.e., fog), then you're out of luck so prepare
for 50s and gray skies. Now if you go outside and see nothing (but blue skies),
then prepare for a nice spring preview on the last nice day for awhile. Sorry
to the folks in western and central Oklahoma, but gray skies may NOT clear up,
so wait to see if you can put on a happy face.

Here's a third scenario...you walk outside into the fog and see roving bands
of zombie pirates. If that's the case, well, it's been too long since I saw the
movie, but something bad is likely to happen!

Long and dumb and unnecessary story short, there will be quite a mixed bag of
high temps today based on whether you get sun or clouds today. Yeah, I went to
school to learn that. Jealous?

Speaking of something bad happening, a cold front will move through the state
tonight and tomorrow and bring us back down below normal for awhile, maybe until
the weekend. And there will be a chance of light snow across much of northern
Oklahoma Tuesday night through Thursday morning.

Maybe a bit of rain elsewhere. This isn't a very wet system, so not much to
worry about but a bit of slippery travel for a brief window Thursday morning.

This will be one of the few extended colder than normal periods we've seen
this winter, and it's not even going to be too extreme, so a blip on our way
to spring.
