Augtember?

Well, I could talk about the rain we're expecting Thursday and Friday, but that's
too cheerful. Too hot to be cheerful. Okay, I'll try to be cheerful. Not only
some rain expected, but also the chance for severe weather. I reckon that will
tide us over until, uhhhhhhh, April?

There could be some heavy rains in there as well. Maybe enough to produce a
flash flood or two, so keep that in mind. And as always, be aware of the other
weather hazards that come with thunderstorms.

Just can't catch a break this year with summer continuing to stick around. Even
us summer-weather-loving diehards have, well...died. It wasn't hard, either.

That's okay, someday fall will arrive for good. I'm thinking about November 30.
Them we'll see winter sometime in late February, then skip spring and go
right into summer in March. Maybe a return to winter sometime in April. Still
no spring, though.

'twas ever thus.
