First off, what sort of sick Helsinki Syndrome stuff is going on here where some
monkey (okay, mandrill, but technically a monkey...I think) has to pay homage to
a lion, an animal that would eat him at a drop of a hat when it grows up, and
show it off to all the other animals that said lion would ALSO eat at the drop of
a hat? And they're expected to worship this lion? I don't think so!

Wait...I'm now being told that "this is just a movie," and perhaps it isn't real.
Never mind.

But we're also seeing the circle of summer this week with a pretty darned nice
cold front having moved through overnight, plunging us from seeing above normal
temperatures to BELOW NORMAL temperatures for the next few days. The current
temps are already 5-10 degrees below from where they were yesterday (which was
blazing hot, at least it felt that way):

And now enjoy those high temperatures 10 degrees below normal for a spell.

Oh, summer's coming back later this week. Make no mistake about that.

But life's not fair, is it?
