Rick Rolled!

The forecast looked good...at least on Thursday. A 77-county rain over the
weekend. Moisture for everybody. A gull commitment was what I was thinking of.

Then comes Mother Nature with the "not so fast" correction. I was in Tulsa and
it certainly rained there. Heck, I thought it felt like a tropical storm, except
it was stupidly cold out. Winds were gusting 25-35 mph, with some areas across
southern Oklahoma seeing winds of over 60 mph. 291 wind gusts of over 45 mph or
greater on Saturday, in fact, and 13 of those were of the severe (greater than
58 mph) variety. Don't tell me you're too blind to see.

We also had a freeze on Friday, and again on Sunday...primarily across far
NW OK. I would guess there was some pretty good frost to the SE of there as
well. Gotta make you understand.

Enough of that, however. We now turn our eyes to Wednesday, when spring could
rise up and make itself felt with severe storms.

You should definitely stay weather aware and keep abreast of the latest
forecasts. Why? You know the rules, and so do I. All modes of severe
weather look possible.

NW Oklahoma is starting to dry out just a little bit.

There MIGHT be some rain if it DOES storm, however. I'm not going to guarantee
it, just give you the latest forecast. Never gonna tell a lie, and hurt you.

This is springtime in Oklahoma. We know the game and we're gonna play it. You
wouldn't get this from any other state climatologist.

Never gonna say goodbye. Well, until now.

Goodbye.
