Cold Shmold

And if you can't wait until Sunday, I give you "Saturday!"

Yeah, it's cold out there right now. Brutally cold.

And that's nothing compared to the Midwest, where it's BARBARICALLY COLD!

Hey, it's not my fault! Blame the sudden stratospheric warming above the North
Pole that split the polar vortex into pieces and sent a slice of it into the
northern reaches of the U.S. If it's any consolation, parts of Europe and
Siberia are getting there's as well. You can read a bit more about the polar
vortex here.

And here's another look in graphics form.

Sorry for today's weather. We'll stick to our boring weather pattern. Unless
you're like me (seek help) and think 70s are exciting, you'll have to wait
until next week when we see the possibility of a storm system approaching, with
a possible chance of precip.

Keep you fingers crossed. Hard to do wearing gloves, so give it your best shot.
