Mayrch 24th

Long before I knew May 5th was a day to go eat lots of nachos and drink
questionable liquids, I thought of that day as "WARM UP DAY." No, not a day to
wear gym clothes, but the day it got warm and seemed to stay warm until October.
Why did I think that? I have no idea. (Remember, you're dealing with my brain.)
I think it probably had to do with the spring semester of college always ending
around that date with lots of summer fun in the offing. Well, I might have to
adjust my thinking, because I'm COLD!

40s for lows? Really? And even some 30s in the Panhandle! And while that might
not seem that cold, please remember that it's MAY 24TH!! In fact, we're darned
close to record lows across much of the state, and some records probably fell.

Never fear, sane/rational people (you others know who you are...COLD WEATHER
fans), it will get warm again. Today, however, we have to suffer through 70s
for highs. Oh, the indignity of the vagaries of Mother Nature's whimsy!

Again, getting way too close (within 10 degrees) of the record low maximum
temps for today.

Prepare for 80s and 90s afterwards, however.

What's it all mean? That somebody's about to seriously mess with this airport!
No wait, that was John McClane's theory in "Die Hard 2." I think it means
summer is locked and loaded, awaiting departure orders from down south.

Fire at will!
