More 90s, as predicted!
Quoteth the Tickereth, lath weeketh (sorry, temporary teef problems):
"Fifty bucks we haven't seen our last 90! Fifty bucks more says it'll be Buffalo."
Okay, so I'll take that fifty bucks in unmarked bills. Ones, Twos, Fives, NO
TENS...long story, or even rolls of Quarters. So I'm 2 for 1,268,435 on my
Ticker predictions as far as I can tell, what with the previous prediction of
30s in the state on Monday.
We'll have a cold front later today which will drop us down another 10-15 degrees
from yesterday. After that, pretty much a lovely fall week with stupendously
boring weather with seasonable highs, and possibly even getting a bit warm early
next week.
After that, we could see a somewhat more significant system for this time of year
bring a somewhat significant chance of showers and storms. NWS Norman hints
at it with this graphic.
Severe weather as well? Here's a teaser from Norman:
Severe weather could also be possible Tuesday with models showing
sufficient CAPE and shear, but where severe weather could be will
also be dependent on the timing/path of the upper system and position
of the dryline.
But then they go and spoil the excitement will all that "uncertainty" stuff!
...but where thunderstorms and severe weather could be possible will likely
change as we get closer to early next week and hopefully the
models converge on a solution as to the timing/path of the storm
system and position of dryline.
No bets on this one, unless the NWS is willing to cover my action.
