Okay enough rain!

Okay, officially sick of the rain! I'm tired of it, you're tired of it, and I
KNOW that the wheat producers are tired of it. This slow, slow slowwwwwwwwwwww
moving upper-level low down to our southwest has finally decided to meander up
our way and on out the door after days (seems like weeks) of impulse after impulse
of storm-generating, uh, impulses. Here it is on the water vapour (spelling vapor
as "vapour" is high class!) satellite image, circled with my red crayon (okay,
high class spelling of "vapor" counter-acted by use of red crayon).

But until it does leave, the blobs of rain will continue to rotate around it and
make our lives soggily miserable.

I can't even remember when this stupid storm system started impacting us, so I'm
just going to throw up the 7- and 14-day rainfall maps (and show you how this
storm has thrown up water all over us).

Yeah, those are not monumental rainfall totals, but they're pretty close to
normal for the entire month in some places, and well above normal in others,
especially down along the Red River. And we're still dealing with the
consequences

as is most of the Southern Plains

So begone, vile knave, you scurrilous dog, thou roguish shard-borne malcontent!
Thou burly-boned weather-bitten mumble-news!

(I took those insults from Shakespeare...I hope none of them are profane)

At any rate, don't go away mad, upper-level storm. Just, just go away.
