A Game of Tornadoes

Hey, at least it's not a Jon Snow meme. Winter is NOT coming, so there's that. But,
according to the NWS, Oklahoma has had 29 tornadoes in 2016 thus far (5 in March,
24 in April, some number greater than zero during) and the count keeps multiplying.
Or additioning, I guess. There was at least one confirmed tornado yesterday and
probably several more. And then there's today. Once again, we have a chance of
all modes of severe weather, including but not limited to tornadoes, flooding,
damaging winds, large hail and dragons. Just kidding on that last one...checking
to see if you read this far.

Just as western OK had the fun yesterday, today is eastern Oklahoma's turn
according to SPC.

And more from our local NWS offices:

Another thing about those tornadoes in 2016...only three have been considered
"significant" (EF2 or greater). All the others have been of the weak variety
(EF0 or EF1). Officially, but also preliminarily, we've only seen 11 injuries
due to tornadoes, but that number rises as you talk about other modes of
severe weather.

So again, another day to stay weather aware across mostly the eastern half of
the state. Then we can do this all again on Wednesday perhaps, then the weekend.

And then?
