And I would have gotten away with it too

Do we really need to go over this again? Even Old Man Smithers, the caretaker
at that old Hotel out on Highway 183 in NW OK has gotten the message by now.

NO OUTSIDE BURNING TODAY!

There's once again a Red Flag Fire Warning for most of western and northern OK
where winds are expected to gust to over 50 mph again, with highs reaching into
the upper 80s and 90s, and relative humidity values below 10%...conditions
generally improving as you go east, of course.

And to top it off, there will be a wind shift with a cold front tonight, so should
a fire ignite, get out of hand AND last through the evening, this will put fire
crews at great risk.

And before you run out tomorrow and start throwing lit cigarettes out of the
Mystery Machine (hey, I didn't name it!), the fire danger does not end today...
it looks like it will be elevated for the most part at least through the
weekend. Friday looks great, however!

Rain? Yes, there's a chance of rain tonight with the front. Don't count on much,
however. Maybe enough to make a nice sizzling sound as it falls into the
wildfires.

JINKIES!

Nope, just doesn't work.
