All right, then snow for crying out loud!

Well, I see by the revised forecasts that the possible snow amounts are ABOVE
ZERO, which is a very bad thing, mainly because it means it will be COLD, which
is an even worse thing.

What did you say?? Yeah, I thought so.

Anyway, it appears the cold air will be deep enough (remember our graphic on
winter precip types...need below freezing temps up the column of the atmosphere)
for snow.

Lately, we have had too much of the left side of the middle of that graphic. This
still doesn't appear to be a storm that will have a significant impact, but an
impact nevertheless with some snow amounts in the 3-4 inch range. Most places
will get less than an inch it would appear, however.

As of now, there is a winter weather advisory in the Panhandle, but the NWS
forecasters remind us that additional advisories could be issued later.

Be sure to continue checking back to our advisories page on the Mesonet for
any changes.

I'm gonna go ahead and put the BRAUM'S EMERGENCY BREAD AND MILK DEF-CON level
to THREE for the Panhandle and far NW OK, as well as far NE OK for late Friday
night into Saturday.

Should you use up all your bread and milk and then be without for that 12 hour
span...well, just pray that doesn't happen.
