Anti-BRRR!

Finally, winter is over and we turn our eyes to spring...

Well, maybe we're speaking a bit too soon there with most of December, January
and February still on the way (i.e., WINTER), but this week looks downright balmy
compared to normal. Those 60s and 70s are 15-20 degrees above normal for this time
of year.

It does appear our next chance of precip and cooler weather will come later in
the weekend, and the forecast even then doesn't show any particularly cold air.
More seasonable type weather. NWS Norman is starting to indicate it on their 7-day
planner.

Notice they have a few flakes showing at the end there, but still, 50s for
highs and 30s for lows is normal for this time of year. Most of the moisture
looks pegged for eastern Oklahoma, and we're not talking a repeat of the
previous winter system we had. There won't be nearly as much cold air, nor
will there be as much moisture to work with.

Enjoy it for now (or hate it, if you're one of THOSE people!), because winter
shall return. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of
your life.

Calm down, Rick. How about until spring instead?
