The un-common cold

Cold, you say? You mean like this?

Or this?

And that?

Is it getting better soon? Well, no. Check it out for yourself.

Tuesday morning's lows appear to be a real nightmare, with teens forecast nearly
statewide.

Add a chance for snow this weekend and you have the makings of a lovely JANUARY!
It doesn't look like a big snow...maybe a trace down south to as much as a
couple of inches up north, but that's a pretty good snow for mid-November.

And with yesterday's U.S. Drought Monitor release, we do need the moisture. But
this is winter precipitation we're talking here, and the amounts are going
to be sadly lacking in drought-quenching moisture.

Have no fear...this cold air (what's already here and Saturday's reinforcing shot)
is expected to eventually pull to the east and leave us with more seasonable
temperatures. You just have to wait awhile.

Can you wait until Thursday? Do you have a choice?

Finally, we're holding our official BRAUM'S DEF-CON LEVEL at 4. A half-inch of
snow?? Come on. And maybe 2 inches up north? Child's play for those folks.
