It happened ... prepare for winter

Just a quick Tick for those that are longing for winter. The mentally deranged,
mostly. Scallywags and ne'er-do-wells. Okay, that's a bit harsh. How about
anybody with allergies? If you like parkas and thermal underwear, that's no
excuse! Regardless, despite the fact that highs this week will be mostly in the
70s and 80s the rest of this week (with a chance of rain by Thursday, maybe?),
freezing weather has arrived in the state. We might not see it again for quite
awhile, but it has arrived. Three of the Mesonet stations in the Panhandle
officially bottomed out at or below 32 degrees yesterday morning.

27??? BRRRR!!! Can snow be far behind? Should we go get in line at Braum's for
bread and milk? Well, as it turns out, this is just about the time it starts
to go below the freezing mark out that way.

So let's hold off on the snow for now. You can still go to Braum's, though. Should
be a good day for ice cream this week. How about on Wednesday?
