Varicose Symptoms on Visible Satellite
Kind of a light Ticker today ... just a quick glance at a visible
satellite image ripped from the UCAR website:
Those clouds in west Texas are clouds. The clouds in most of the rest
of the image (most notably in Iowa) are not clouds. The giveaway?
Clouds don't show black veins along streams and rivers.
In other words, today's satellite imagery shows the snowpack that
still survives weeks after falling in late December and again in
early January.
The western panhandle stays under a white landscape. The Cimarron River
shows up as it clips the northern part of its namesake County.
