More Dry Stuff

Well, Autumn 2005 continues its dizzying variety of flavors today.
Today's "Dry and Crisp, with a gentle breeze" gets added to the
rest of the menu, which also features:

Dry and Cold, with strong northerly winds
Dry and Warm, with strong southerly winds
Dry and Getting Warmer, with Gentle southerly winds
Dry and Sunny
Dry and Cloudy
Dry and Hazy
Dry, with a lot of blowing smoke
Dry and Daytime
Dry and Nighttime
Increasing Dryness
Dry, with a slight chance of Really Dry

Well, you get the picture.  So do the folks in Kenton, where the dew
point is currently ten degrees below zero.

We have a couple of maps today.  They show, for each Mesonet site, the
duration since one-tenth or one-quarter inch of rainfall was observed
on a calendar day. Here they are:
