Some Summarizing of the Summer Summary

OCS has released this quarter's edition of its seasonal summary,
again under the iron-fisted leadership of editor Gary "Perry" McManus.
It's another good one, featuring the 25th and 50th anniversary
remembrances of Oklahoma weather and climate events.

The OU/OSU partnership fostered by the Oklahoma Mesonet gives OCS
the opportunity to produce timely ag-weather information, and this
issue doesn't disappoint.

The Mesonet now offers data every five minutes, instead of every
fifteen. The details and ramifications of this transition are
featured in the Summer summary (sorry, we just like writing that).

Finally, Gary recounts the unfolding of Oklahoma's spring weather.
(here's a hint: dry and non-violent, just like the Ticker).
