Yet Another Rainy Ticker
Statistics indicate that this June, while rainy, won't approach the
month's record precipitation, at OKC and Tulsa at least. The totals
will end up around seven inches (give or take) at each airport -
still several inches short of the OKC and TUL records of 14.66 and
11.17 inches, respectively.
The number of rainy days, however, will tie the record at Tulsa.
Fifteen of the days on the June 2004 calendar sheet saw measurable
precipitation, tying the previous mark set in 1999. At OKC, the
thirteen measurable-precip days falls four short of the record set
in 2000.
