Record-Setting Memorial Day?
A few locations in northeast Oklahoma set records yesterday for the
coolest Memorial Day temperatures observed (caveat: Memorial Day
wasn't declared a national holiday until 1971).
Low temperatures in the mid-40s tapped the bottom of the Memorial
Day statistics pool at a few locations north and/or east of Tulsa.
However, for the rest of the state, the morning just wasn't quite
as cool as May 30, 1983.
