Moon to Occult Saturn Tonight

Dr. J.D. Carlson from Oklahoma State is the Mesonet's unofficial
stargazer. Today he writes to inform us that the moon will occult
the planet Saturn for about 45 minutes tonight. He has assured us
that an "occultation" is nothing more than the moon "covering up"
an object by passing between it and the earth: no bizarre rites
are administered or anything like that.

Saturn will be the bright yellow object just to the left of the moon
at about 6:30 tonight. It will pass behind the moon at about 6:37 pm
(plus or minus a few minutes based on your location in Oklahoma), and
reappear to the right of the moon about 7:15 pm.

So, enjoy this rare celestial event tonight!
