Real-time Radar Data Now Available via Mesonet Subscriber Packages

Sometimes, news is so good it travels far and wide.  Today, good news
travelled as far as the exclusive and remote Ticker vacation compound.

The news is this: current radar data has been added to several Mesonet
subscriber packages.  This is real-time NEXRAD reflectivity data from
15 stations in the southern plains.  It may be viewed as a single frame
or as an animation.

Basic and premium subscribers can access this data using the
OCS WxScope plugin available at

http://sdg.mesonet.org/

With the new data stream, the subscriber pages now offer more data
than their menus can convey.  As a result, weather data "families"
are now accessible through a drop-down menu in the upper-left corner
of each page.
