Freeze Map Discontinued

Now that temperatures have crawled above freezing statewide, the
"Duration of Current Freeze" map has been discontinued until the
next big outbreak of sub-freezing temps.  Congratulations (?) to
the several locations in Oklahoma that spent 100+ hours below the
freezing level


Speaking of Un-Freezing

Here's a pretty neat movie of melting snowpack in northwest Texas.
It's a pretty big file (2.5 MB), and you'll need the QuickTime
movie player to watch it, but it's worth it.
