Some Relief for Most of Oklahoma

The rains of the most recent weekend weren't drought-busters, but they
definitely brought some welcome temporary relief to most of Oklahoma.

The following streaks of days without significant (0.1" or more) rain
were broken on Saturday or Sunday:

76 days: Bessie, Putnam, Watonga
77 days: Butler, Grandfield, Marena, Seiling, Waurika, Weatherford
78 days: Arnett, Perkins
80 days: Guthrie
84 days: Lahoma, Ringling
92 days: Mangum
93 days: Hollis

However, the rain was not uniform over the state and some areas did not
receive the half-inch to three inches that most of the state enjoyed.
Mesonet stations at Erick and Kenton have still not observed significant
rainfall since August:

Blackwell 10 days since 0.20" fell on October 5
Kenton 58 days since 0.78" fell on August 18
Erick 78 days since 0.29" fell on July 29
