So long, July
Preliminary data from the Oklahoma Mesonet indicate that July 2000 was
near or slightly cooler than normal across the state, with the exception
of the northeast, central and north central climate divisions, which
were significantly cooler than normal.
Probably not coincidentally, these three climate divisions were above
normal in rainfall, while the state as a whole finished the month very
slightly below normal in that category. The southeast climate division
observed significantly below normal rainfall for the month.
More details, and an introduction to August, tomorrow.
