April 1999: All Climate Divisions Exceed Normal Precipitation
The month of April 1999 was indeed a soggy one, according to preliminary
rainfall data. The month's rainfall placed 11th in the record books,
as the wettest month since 1990.
Also, continuing a long-running trend, northern climate divisions
received more rainfall than their southern counterparts, especially
when compared to their normals.
