Fire Danger Takes A Breather
While the recent precipitation hasn't been "drought-busting" rainfall,
it seems to have left an impact on the current fire conditions.
The burning index (BI) map of the Oklahoma Fire Danger Model shows less
dangerous conditions than it did in the preceding days.
The Oklahoma Fire Danger Model is updated five times per day at:
http://agweather.mesonet.org/fire/data.html
Outreach Pages Get New Look
The OCS Educational Outreach pages have undergone an overhaul, and are
now available on a new server, at:
http://outreach.mesonet.org
The new server holds plenty of information, an online glossary, and
lots of cool links for students and teachers!
