Extreme Weather Round-up

Very hot weather returned to the southwestern portion of the state,
and several stations observed high temperatures above 100 F.  Grandfield
and Walters were the warmest, at 107 F.

Hobart observed wind gusts of 77, 67, 58, and 56 mph around 3:00 pm this
afternoon.  Thirty minutes later, wind gusts of 46 and 45 mph were
observed.

As of 6:30 pm, six stations (Acme, Hobart, Bowlegs, Claremore, Okemah
and Mangum) have all observed at least a half-inch of rainfall since
midnight.
