More Heat
This afternoon closely resembles yesterday afternoon, except a few degrees
higher air temperature.  Temperatures in far northwestern Oklahoma and the
eastern panhandle soared well above 100F.  Beaver observed 110 F at 4:30pm,
the state's hot spot today.

As of the four o'clock hour, heat indices above 105 F are commonplace
throughout the state.

The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Forestry Services Division has
expanded the Red Flag Fire Alert to roughly the western half of the state.
