It's Been A While
With the exception of three panhandle stations (Beaver, Hooker, Kenton), no Mesonet station has received at least one-quarter inch of rainfall in 18 days. Here are the Mesonet stations which have gone the longest since a "quarter-inch day":

Eastern Oklahoma Continues to Swelter
The latest heat index map, updated every 15 minutes at: http://www.mesonet.org/data/public/mesonet/maps/realtime/current.heat.gif shows Mesonet heat indices greater than 110 F over much of eastern Oklahoma as of 3:00 pm. The state's most extreme heat indices have been within about 60 miles of the Tulsa metropolitan area for the majority of the afternoon.
