You like apples?

Oh, questioning my cold (well, cool really) front placement? Well, the winds
AND the analysis from real professionals tell the tale.

You can't always tell with the presence of rain throwing things off. Wait, rain?
YES, RAIN!!

Totals haven't been extraordinary just yet, but it's something.

The western Panhandle is the real winner thus far (they always are, because they
are the Panhandle...best spot in Oklahoma!), but it would appear they aren't
nearly finished out that way. Flash flooding will be a concern in Cimarron
County. Not so rosy for parts south and east of there, at least according to
the latest forecasts.

Uhhh, can that area even hold that much rain? I guess we're gonna find out.

A half-inch or more possibly as you get into central OK. Gonna need more. Check
out the new Drought Monitor report, which shows an intensifying drought from
west central through central OK.

Yikes, severe drought now encompassing a decent patch of the state...4% thus
far and building. Seems obvious we'll see some relief for all that yellow/brown
color to the north and west, but maybe not so much across central Oklahoma,
where the deficits continue to build and the temperatures have been soaring.
Kingfisher has had a measly inch of rain over the last 60 days, 13 percent
of normal over that period.

One more REALLY hot day, at least for most of the state, as that cool front
lingers around. Then the northwesterly flow kicks in for real and some even
cooler air filters south early next week.

80s statewide on Monday? Are you kidding me?

Yeah, I like them apples.
