Heck to the yeah get excited! "Heck to the yeah"?? Okay, so I'm not the most hip
person in the room (which is really sad, since there's nobody in here with me).
I'm betting "hip" isn't even the word to use anymore. I'm about 20 years behind,
to tell you the truth. That's why I'm in CLIMATE and not WEATHER. So how about

celebrity news. Besides this Swift/Kelce stuff, I hear that soccer guy David
Beckham is dating one of the Spice Girls! And Richard Burton is supposedly
messing around with Elizabeth Taylor again.
Oh never mind. Let's just get it out there to begin with...no, there is not
another fall blast coming this way anytime soon. Even the temperature counterpart
to the above precip outlook for next week is all red for us.

How about this...we may not see highs below 80 degrees before next weekend. NO,
not THIS weekend...NEXT weekend. Definitely not in the next 7 days or so.

Oh, you want 70s? Yeah, nice try. How about just mid-80s! Even a "cool down"
coming early next week is likely only to drop us down 5-10 degrees above normal
instead of 10-15 degrees above normal. Nice try, part 2? There's no cool down
coming early next week! Heck, there's not even a "cool down."
The rain is just now starting to ping the 7-day forecast, but it needs to get
a bit more hefty than this to get really excited.
