Rain-Stop
Wing-Stop sounds pretty good rn, ngl. But some of us are stuck eating Chicken
McNuggets (western OK) whilst eastern OK gets the good stuff. I'm ngl (I don't
know what it means, I'm old) though, western Oklahoma DID get SOME rain, BUT not
ENOUGH (help, MY annoying FONT button IS stuck ON!).
Are you kidding me Pvt. Pyle!! THAT'S what our 8-days of fall brought us? Are you
kidding me AGAIN Pvt. Pyle...we ended up with 8 days of fall??
Even extending that rainfall map out to 30 days shows MOST of us were (are)
losers over that time frame, and I meant "losers" in the meteorological sense
(the other kind...well, we know who we are, don't we?).
Very few of the droughty areas of the state received above normal precip, but
most received something, at least. And that's over for awhile, unfortunately.
We're going back into rainless heat mode (and we all know just how painful
that can be).
Hope for later? Maybe that first week of October (i.e., next week)?
Never fear. We're starting to see 40s up in the Panhandle once again,
signalling our switch to more steady fall (i.e., winter) weather soon.
Until then, though...more of this!
