And this is for the weekend into early next week...we haven't even discussed the arctic front for Tuesday through Thursday. At least that one will still be in February. It's just wrong to have highs in the 20s (probably) in March, and wind chills in the single digits! There will probably be a few storm systems slide through that cold air with some opportunities for wintry precip, but those details are just too far away to hazard a guess at this point, let alone know if there will be enough return moisture from the Gulf to make this frigid plunge a bit more exciting. Speaking of frigid plunges, imagine a clogged toilet near the arctic circle? No wait, I was going to say speaking of arctic plunges, let's take a look at what's happening THIS Tuesday. Look at that temperature gradient on Wednesday.
