Merry Christmas!




Yes, I'm still off. By most reports, wayyyyyy off! That's okay, I've never been
"on." Still looking at the same forecast...rain off and on over the next four
days or so, especially on Christmas Eve. Heavy rain possible, maybe a bit of snow
up in far NW OK and the Panhandle (NO, the Panhandle ain't NW OK).



Heck, it's raining right now for crying out loud!



Temperatures drop down to more seasonable levels on Christmas Day, just to mess
with us.



We blasted some record high tmins out of the water this morning already, on our
way to a decently warm afternoon.







Hey, you want big changes of the WINTER kind? Wait until later next week,
maybe. Until then, here's my favorite Christmas carol. Sing along if you must,
nobody can hear ya!

Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But in Oklahoma, it's so delightful.

But tomorrow it might be a calm, gentle exhale.
Pack your flip-flops and your snow boots too,
In Oklahoma, weather's a mixed-up brew!

Driving through rain, then a dust storm appears,
Tornado Alley, where you face your fears.
But we'll brave the elements, come what may,
In Oklahoma, it's a weather buffet!

Oklahoma's weather, it keeps us on our toes,
From tornado drills to dodging hail that throws.
No snowplows, just sunshine and sleet,
We wish you an ever-changing Christmas treat!

So here's to the holidays in Oklahoma's embrace,
Where the weather's a puzzle, a true weather chase.
