It's all over but the shouting now (and we asked you NOT to shout), but it appears
Mt. Herman will once again capture the highest yearly rainfall total, 2023's
version, with at least 65.72 inches of rain. There is just a bit of rain forecast
for the next 7 days, so maybe that could go up just a tad, but don't bet on it.
And, as per usual, some were lucky and some...not so much (we see you Nowata at
11.9 inches below normal). Then there's Beaver at 14 inches ABOVE normal.
Yes, December was very kind to the Panhandle, which has had it's wettest December
since at least 1921.
Yeah, that's LUDICRUS (ludicrous to you) rain in the Panhandle.
The Ticker is still on vacation through January 3 (2024...NOT 2025 like you
hoped for), so until we meet again...
