June 18, 1999 June 18, 1999 June 18, 1999 June 18, 1999 Cool Air Spreads Southward Air temperatures were well below normal yesterday throughout the state, as the cool air behind a significant cold front spread into the southern third of the state. A graphic is available at: http://ticker.mesonet.org/archive/19990618/belo_norm.gif Rainfall Update After 2.5 months, at least half the state has received more rainfall since April 1st than during the entire April-September period of 1998.
