Post-Front Recovery Package

Southerly winds are returning to Oklahoma this afternoon, despite
the valiant resistance of the eastern third of the state.

Here are a few standard Mesonet subscriber maps which provide good
information on days like today:

Cool Rains Noted on Stream Gauges

The rains and cooler weather of the last few days is evident in the
stage indicator and temperature indicator of several Mesonet/OWRB
stream gauges. These images provide a running look at the last seven
days at each gauge.

Here are the three most dramatic examples of the cooldown:

Cottonwood Creek (near Guthrie):
