July 6, 1999 July 6, 1999 July 6, 1999 July 6, 1999 Anarchy in the Wind Field Nothing real special going on today, except that the wind field across the state is remarkably light and variable, despite the presence of a weak front/trough near the Oklahoma-Kansas border. The 1:30 pm weather map ( http://ticker.mesonet.org/archive/19990706/current.wx.gif ) shows the chaos firsthand.
