Sorta snowy

Bury the lead? Heck no, because there isn't a lead to bury. We will see a couple
of chances of minor snow amounts across a minority of Oklahoma, first in far
far far (and I mean FAR...so far that's it's actually Arkansas) eastern Oklahoma
Wednesday, then across far far far (and I mean ACROSS...oops, I mean far) western
Oklahoma this weekend. As of right now, neither system looks to bring too much
in the way of impacts to the state, but as we've seen recently, this could change.

Today we will deal with on and off showers across far far (OKAY, STOP!) eastern
Oklahoma, but again nothing major. It's actually raining now, with totals starting
to inch up.

You can see where the potential for significant precip exists in Oklahoma, but
it ain't much.

Other than that, we're going to remain in this very January-ish pattern, with
seasonal to below-seasonal temps interspersed with seasonal to above-seasonal
temps, and occasional storm systems.

I always think of January as the most boring of all weather months in Oklahoma,
as we often stall in the winter doldrums. The chance for snow here and there
probably pushes it above July and August and their summer doldrums for most,
but I happen to find warm weather pretty darned exciting.

Especially in January.
