How brown is my valley

Shocking just what an Oklahoma summer can do, eh? This change in relative
greenness (i.e., how green is it looking down from space now, compared to the
greenest it has ever been, sorta) is, as the kids say, not crunk, nor is it fire.
Although the browning of our vegetation could certainly LEAD to more fires, and
we're already seeing a significant uptick of wildfire reports over the last
few weeks.

Even eastern Oklahoma is seeing that soil moisture start to dwindle, and so
their vegetation is on a wilt-watch.

Not much change in western Oklahoma because there isn't any soil moisture to
lose, obviously. It'd be like somebody trying to torture me for information,
let's say...for my chili recipe, which is just Wolf Brand WITH beans, by
threatening to shave my head. Ain't gonna matter.
At any rate, the heat and drought continues, as does my lack of hair.
