Accentuate the positive

Like the title says, sometimes you have to accentuate the positive. For example,
when I look in the mirror every morning, I accentuate the positive and say "at
least I still have eyebrows!"
And when I look at the aftermath of yesterday's severe weather, I try to say "at
least we (as in, some of us) got some rain!"

The one place this won't work is after you eat at Taco Bell. "Well at least I ate
some good food" is no remedy to what ails you afterwards.
But there were definitely consequences to getting that rain, including winds of
up to 84 mph reported near Elk City, and maybe at least a couple of tornadoes
up in the Tulsa area.

And we get to maybe do the whole thing again today, with a dryline setup like
we've seen the last couple of days, and early-afternoon convective initiation
looking likely.

And, to accentuate the positive, more rain today?

Annnnnndddddd, we get to do it all over again on Friday with maybe our highest
risk scenario of the year thus far.

Let's get through today first. Hey, at least I get to write a Ticker tomorrow!
