M*A*S*H-up

I do miss "M*A*S*H", at least in a 'time-for-bed because M*A*S*H comes on directly
after the 10pm news' kind of a signal. Yes, I'm THAT old. Heck, I'm old enough to
remember when the 10pm news ended at 10:30pm for crying out loud!
I also miss Cherry Mash, although I do understand you can find both either at
specialty stores, or streaming (but if you're streaming Cherry Mash, you have
bigger problems than weather!). Anyway, about our mash-up above...
The weather setup for today is pretty simple...there will be a dryline out
west today and to the west of that dryline, you have the Red Flag Fire Warning
with winds gusting 35-40 mph and very low RHs down into the lower-teens, with
still lots of fine fuels waiting for a spark in that drought-plagued part of the
state.
To the east of the dryline, IF storms can fire (and that's a big IF), there will
be enough instability and wind shear will be supportive of storms. If those
storms can live long enough to get to the better moisture, they'll be capable of
some wind and large hail, to go along with a low (but the dreaded NOT ZERO)
chance of tornadoes.

And tomorrow looks like a more realistic classic severe weather setup with more
lift to help those storms get going, capable of all modes of severe weather.

And don't sleep on Wednesday either. Well, sleep, but don't sleep on the severe
weather setup for that day.

At the least, we could get some more rain from these shenanigans. We've gotten
a bit here and there over the last 3 days, but we definitely need more.

Not shockingly, it's been a dry spring thus far. For NW OK, near-record dry
in some areas.

As per usual, whether you're dealing with fire or storms, best to stay weather
aware!
