A little dab'll do ya




Hey, don't scoff at those meager totals being so monumental, given what we've seen
for the last 3 (errrr, 8) weeks.



I mean, they can't ALL be November 2024s. I mean, just look where we were last
year at this time, having already set the all-time November rainfall record for
the state with 2 weeks left to go.



This year, not so much.



And the rain chances don't stop there (at least we hope...much like 30 years ago
when we hoped the hair chances didn't stop either) with another round possible
early next week with a second cutoff upper-level low meandering in our
direction.



Not too shabby. Of course, it has to actually happen, and with some of this
rainfall being convective in nature, expect widely varying totals over short
distances at times. Here are some of the particulars for the next 7 days from
our fine non-feathered friends at the NWS.





And confidence is STILL growing for a bigtime pattern change for next week from
our 500 Days of Summer to Walking in A Winter Wonderland (can I mix movies
and songs??), with a cold Thanksgiving (not the turkey though...that's just
dry) and even colder AFTER Thanksgiving.



Well, there's no point in writing further (is there ever??) with the waterworks
set to start, and still some uncertainty about next week's rainfall forecast,
so let's watch tonight and see how much of a head start we can get on bumping
those totals up.

No uncertainty on that hair forecast, however.
