Beyond Winterdome

First the good news...90s this weekend (at least for some of us)! And dare I say
our first 100 in the state?

Oh, you dare me? Okay, nobody dares me to say something and not have me say it. If
there's one thing I never do it's not answer a dare. Well, that and not use no
double negatives.

Okay, I doubt we get a hunnert out west, but a guy can dream, no? Oh, you dare me
to dream? Well nobody...never mind, we've covered this already...I would dream
of a full head of hair though, and a pocket full of Cherry Pop-Tarts.

Now the bad news...well, there is no bad news when summer is in the forecast. Now
it will take awhile to get there (okay, that sorta bad news), but it'll at least
be warm'ish to that point of summery fun this weekend.

You know how it's really gonna feel like summer? Of course highs in the mid-90s
helps, but look at those LOWS on Sunday!

GAZOINKS! (science word, IYKYK).

It'll cool down after that...it is April in Oklahoma, after all. But no more
wintry fun until next winter, I hope. Sometime in February, maybe?

Dare I say we've had our last freeze for much of the state? Oh, you're gonna
dare me...STOP! No, I'm not gonna say it. But we are well past the average
final freeze date for much of the southern half to two-thirds of Oklahoma.

Okay, that's all I wanted to say today. Dare I say goodbye?

Yes, goodbye.
