Glub glub
Even if it DIDN'T come to pass, the colors on the forecast rainfall map sure look
purty (Okie to English translation: "pretty"). And sorely needed as well.
"Sorely Needed" is also the name of my new book about a pimple breakout of epic
proportions that leaves a town popping off in all the wrong ways. Pick it up in
not-so-fine bookstores everywhere.
But hey, it's dry out there. REALLY dry.
It's cold, too, which is about the worst combination possible...dry and cold.
Only thing worse is blazing hot (as opposed to just "hot") and humid. Think
August 12th or so.
Never fear (well, SOMETIMES fear, just not now), temps are on the way up through
the week, getting into the 50s and 60s eventually.
The rain should begin down south sometime late Tuesday, and we'll see rain off
and on through early Friday, or thereabouts. Maybe some snow for the western
Panhandle, but doesn't look like much at this time.
Well, there ya have it. Finally something a bit more palatable than just cold.
Seeing that rain should give ya the warm fuzzies, at least.
