Snowthern Exposure

Well this really sticks in my craw (and we all know just how painful that can be...
and I don't even know what a "craw" is, for crying out loud!). How can Babbie,
Alabama, have 11 inches of snow on the ground this morning and Bugtussle, Oklahoma,
can have zero?

It ain't fair, I tell ya!

In fact (fiction, too), that one snowstorm that snowed Dixie in gives much of that
area more snowfall for the season thus far than much of OUR area.

I ain't got much to say today, but I thought it deserved a Tick. Now let's Tock
about our boring weather, and it don't get much more boring than "consecutive
hours below freezing."

Slapout (ha, take that, Babbie!) leads the way with 106 consecutive hours, but
the consecutive part of that stat is numbered. Above freezing approacheth, and
we're already an astounding (ASTOUNDING I say!) 44 degrees warmer right now
("now" is now "then," but we've covered that before) than at this time yesterday.

It's still cold, though. Make no mistakes about that, and proper care needs to
be taken if you're out in it.

How do the 40s sound? Maybe a 50 or two?

Pretty, pretty, pretty good.
