Rage on
Just a quick Holiday Tick to Tock about what we already know...our weather is
wayyyy boring and that's what we can continue to expect for the near future (say,
next 7 days to 7 months, give or take 6.5 months). Basically what we have, as
we've mentioned many times, is the same weather of December, just subtract 20
degrees off of every forecast. So our 80s and 70s become 60s and 50s, and our
40s and 30s become 20s and teens. Hence, as we look at what will become our
FIFTH (I think?) major cold front during the first 20 days of 2022 on Wednesday.
The only tiny tiny TINY (oxymoron font size notwithstanding) big of excitement
will be a small chance of some snow flurries across NW OK Wednesday night into
Thursday. Highs will be in the 20s and 30s, with wind chills dipping down close
to zero, of course, because 2022! We remain with little chance of beneficial
precip as we look out another week. Medium-range forecasts show little hope
through the rest of January.
On the more positive side, we have a nice day today and on Tuesday, and then
a quick warm up after our cold front Wednesday and Thursday.
Peaceful weather while we have it. Couldn't it at least drizzle again?
