Let's move on
Okay, everybody in the state has seen snow. If'n you're in the southeast, you
might have blinked and missed it, but it DID snow down there. So now as we
languish with another nearly ice-cold rain across most of the state, and snow
showers in the west, I'm declaring it time to move on. Hurry up and spring spring
on us.
Now who am I to declare a change of seasons? I am My name is Maximus Decimus
Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions...no
wait. Dang, I've watched too many movies. I'm just a single Ticker writer, wanting
for all of us to be able to walk outside without a coat/jacket and not freeze
out bums off.
That ain't gonna happen tomorrow as another arctic cold front plunges through the
state, dropping temperatures into the 20s and 30s for highs, lows in the teens,
and wind chills even lower.
The timing is off if you wanted more snow. Had that front arrived earlier, we'd
be seeing a vastly different hazards map this morning, rather than just a
winter weather advisory for the NW quarter.
Warming up for the weekend? Yes, please.
After that? Well, I'm not even gonna bring it up.
